Learn More About the Whale's Tail...

The Whale's Tail opened in 1969 and Michael Koutnik purchased the Restaurant in 1983. Michael transformed the Whale's Tail into the premier Seafood Restaurant in Ventura county. The Whale's Tail is on the water in Channel Islands Harbor with spectacular views of the Harbor and Mountains. Upstairs is our Shellfish Bar, Bar, Entertainment center. Downstairs is our seating for our main dining room, serving lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. We offer catering and gladly accomodate large groups. We hope to see you at the Whale's Tail soon!
